Entryways

The entryway signs to our neighborhood needed refurbishment. Each will be repaired, painted and stucco repaired as needed. The wood on the West Entry was in bad shape so much of it has been sealed and covered with a protective layer. Thanks to Henryk Sloma, Tom Okeefe, Steve Smith and Tom Baca.

MMNA Neighborhood Meeting – Review

APD Presentation:

  1.  Report any Crimes – This will help APD Address issues
    1. Non-emergency (suspicious activity) – 242-COPS
    2. Emergency (Crime in Action or occurred) – 911
    3. Prevention:
      1. Neighborhood Watch Programs

                             i.      Block by Block

                             ii.      Know your neighbors

                            iii.      Contact Yvette Garcia at 761-8800

                           

  • Make sure you home is well lit and looks secure by doing a walk around

                            i.      Yvette Garcia with APD will come and do one with you if you call 7618800

  1. Make sure you keep serial numbers and pictures of all valuables

 

Neighborhood Response:

  1.  A committee was put together to review the following
    1. Adding security cameras to neighborhood
    2. Adding surveillance or other signs to the neighborhood
    3. Adding Chief’s Overtime – APD officer monitors neighborhood for fee
